The Two Tails Ranch and Their Fight Against Animal Abuse and Animal Cruelty

Animal abuse and animal cruelty are two issues that are frequently brought up when you discuss the circus. The Shrine Circus fights against animal abuse and cruelty. This is an issue we are extremely dedicated to and we ensure that all of our animals are properly cared for across all of our shows. In this month’s blog, we are showcasing the Two Tails Ranch and their excellent facilities that are working hard to spread elephant awareness and to fight against animal abuse and animal cruelty.

The Two Tails Ranch is located in Williston, Florida. The ranch was founded in 1984 by Theodore H. Svertesky and Patricia L. Zerbini. The goal of the ranch was to raise awareness against animal abuse and animal cruelty by providing a safe haven for elephants from all over the world.

The ranch features a climate that is similar to the native climate of elephants, it is surrounded by green grass, live oaks, and natural wildlife. Overall, the environment is very peaceful for the elephants living on the ranch and it helps them recover from instances of extreme animal abuse and animal cruelty that they may have suffered at the hands of their past owners. Elephants on the ranch come and go. Some stay permanently, while others are rehomed and placed in the care of loving owners that will attend to their needs.

Overall, the ranch provides a loving atmosphere that helps these wondrous creatures feel loved and at home. The Shrine Circus supports the amazing work provided by the Two Tails Ranch and we recommend that elephant enthusiasts look into their role in combatting animal cruelty and animal abuse. If you are interested in attending one of our shows, we offer them throughout Toronto, Brampton, Windsor, Hamilton, and Ottawa. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us today.
