All things in life, even a thought, on a quantum level, is energy. And as with energy, like attracts like. Your vibration will attract things, events, situations and people that vibrate at a similar frequency to you. Animals are naturally ‘in tune’ and much better with sensing energetic resonance than humans are. For that reason alone, we hold all animals in high regard and ask that you stand alongside all of us at the Shrine Circus in the fight against animal cruelty and abuse. This is something we really aspire to see the end of in our world. We lead by example and we look forward to the day when humanity really wakes up to the fact that when one living being is hurting, we all hurt.
Passionately Against Animal Cruelty and Abuse
When you put your entire life’s passion into living and working with animals, it is completely unfathomable to even consider being cruel or abusive to any animal. It’s not in our nature, and none of us in the Shrine Circus family would even think of being anything but compassionate and loving to the creatures that teach us so much. Sure we’re working with the animals to train them for performances under Canada’s largest big top, but that’s just a small part of our relationship with them. As much as we’re trainers, we are also students of the animals as they teach us more about communication and relationships than we could even learn from our fellow humans. Animals understand unconditional love better than people do, and we’re all in agreement that our world could use a bit more of that understanding.
We Love and Care for All Our Animals
All of the animals at the Shrine Circus, even the clowns, are treated with the utmost respect and compassion. That love and care is common place for all performers. We are a tight knit family and we all watch out for each other. Our relationships with the animals is of paramount importance to us, not for fear of any backlash from an animal advocacy group, but from the natural order and harmony of the energetic frequency of love which sets the optimal stage for a happy, successful experience for both the animal and human performers. That positive loving energy translates into awesome performances where it almost appears that the animals and trainers are reading each others minds!
Living and Working with the Animals
While traveling with the Shrine Circus during the performance season, every animal performer is finely cared for ensuring that all of their special needs are met in a compassionate and timely manner. The only thing remotely harmed is the ground when they poop because they’re fed so well with fresh fruits and vegetables, and even the ground is respected as it’s quickly cleaned up! We ensure all the animal performers get more than enough fresh water and lots of loving encouragement and support. Even when they’re not on tour, the animals are treated to the same opulent care in an even more relaxing environment.
At the Two Tails Ranch and Elephant Care Facility in Florida, the Zerbini family and staff work closely with all of the animals. They communicate using energy, and this is where the animals become the teachers. Trainers and staff learn to pick up on the subtle energies emanating from and between the animals.
