Fighting Against Animal Abuse with an Effective Weapon
It would be correct to say that Shrine Circus fights against animal abuse, however we don’t fight. We do not condone violence of any kind at all whatsoever. We all live and practice the complete opposite of abuse, with our animals and each other we breathe compassion and care in all of our actions. We stand proud and confident in our collective belief that there is absolutely no room in life for mistreatment or exploitation of others, regardless of how many legs they walk on. This world is in desperate need of love and care, and each person on this planet has the individual responsibility to deliver just that, to self and other. Cruelty and abuse does not fit in at all to humanity’s growth and evolution, and anyone who disagrees with this is living within a completely extinct mind.
Abuse Is Violence in All Forms
Abuse is capable of being delivered in many forms, from physical to verbal, emotional to psychological; all of it leaves a long lasting impression on the victim and even has a negative impact on the abuser. Karma is known to be real nasty for the perpetrator, and for the recipient of abuse, trust in others is heavily jeopardized. So what does cruelty and abuse teach us? The monumental lesson is that it is completely unhealthy and unnecessary for such behaviour to even exist in our society. Plain and simple, it is a violent action, regardless of the form it’s delivered, and it is something that each individual must learn to eradicate within themselves and subsequently the world.
Cause and Effect
To hurt another is to hurt one’s self, it matters not if that other is human or animal, the universal law of cause and effect will indeed respond. What we put out we get back, as above so below. The mirror tells all, so first and foremost it’s best to be aware of what we tell ourselves, how we treat the self, and it’s up to each one of us to be the change we so desperately wish to see in the world.
Love for All Species Begins with Self
If you love yourself, truly love yourself from a point of innerstanding, it is impossible to inflict pain and anguish upon another. Such behaviour doesn’t even enter into one’s consciousness because to love self is to love another. All others, of every species, outside yourself are as worthy and deserving of your kindness and compassion as you are. That is your power and it is the answer to world peace and harmony. There would be no reason to fight against animal abuse because there would be no cruelty and abuse of self or other. Love is a state of being that we all must aspire to and gravitate towards each day. It’s a powerful force that can eliminate wrongs and elevate well being.
Join Us in Our Intention
Shrine Circus fights against animal cruelty, and our conscious weapon of choice is compassion for all animal species throughout the world, not just the ones we work and live with. It is unfathomable to inflict any pain or anguish upon animals, particularly when they have so much to teach us about ourselves. To look into the eyes of any living being is to see the spirit of unconditional love. The compassion begins within each and every one of us, and it is our intention to lead by example. When you and your family visit us at the Shrine Circus you will see and feel the love that we share with all our animal performers, and we extend that emotion in all of our actions. We hope you join us in our passion to co-create a world free from cruelty and abuse towards all living beings. It makes sense to be sensitive and kind towards others. That is how together we will change the world for the better.
