The Shrine Circus is a European-style big top circus full of talented entertainers from around the world, including Judit and Jurgen Nerger, who lead their tigers through a routine of elaborate tricks and Erika Zerbini, who displays the intelligence, talent and elegance of her elephants. Also included in this amazing show are acrobatics, juggling, clown comedy, and the incredible circus wheel. Help celebrate 251 years of Zerbini Family Circus with amazing, fun spring and summer activities and shows that will serve as a back-to-basics, family experience. Since their start in Paris in 1763, ten generations of Zerbinis have been sharing their skills with circus audiences, including our very own Erika Zerbini and her magnificent elephants.
The Annual Shrine Circus is one of the largest fraternal events sponsored by the Shriners. The Shrine Circus provides quality, fun spring and summer activities, with proceeds going to great causes. Shriners belong to an international fraternity of approximately 340,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Panama. Founded in 1872, the Shriners are best known for their unique parades, distinctive red fez, and their official philanthropy, children’s hospitals. Come to a show and be amazed by the talents of all our performers.
The Shrine Circus has a great line up of shows not to be missed throughout the spring and summer in Ontario and Quebec in the following cities: Toronto, Rexdale, Brampton, Milton, Woodbridge, Paris, Montreal and Laval.
