The Shrine Circus is a family circus that has been providing quality family entertainment across Canada, including in Ontario and Quebec, for many years. It is important to note that the Shrine Circus has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to animal abuse and cruelty. Our animal performers are an important part of our circus family and are treated as such. Trainers use positive reinforcement and rewards to reinforce the strong bonds between animal and trainer and to promote learning new skills. The relationship is based on respect and trust, and the performances and skill development are evidence of this strong bond.

Ensuring our animal performers are well-taken care of is a priority for us at the Shrine Circus. The health and well-being of each animal is our priority and central to the success of our shows. Animals must be well taken care of to thrive and perform well. In the same way our acrobats, clowns and animal trainers are respected and treated with dignity, our animal performers deserve and receive the same treatment.
